Janette Rodrigues

Janette Rodrigues is the Administrative Director of the new Office of Integrative Medicine (OIMN) at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Housed in Department of Clinical Research and Leadership, the Office provides a collaborative space to engage, educate, and support health care providers and patients interested in whole health and treatments that consider the whole patient, not just the disease.

Health care is a right, but too often integrative health isn’t accessible to all. Janette believes in AIM’s mission and vision. Prior to GW, she was an editorial director, magazine editor, and social media leader for a national medical association. A former journalist, Janette covered breaking news for nearly 20 years for a number of newspapers, including the Houston Chronicle, one of the 10 largest newspapers in the U.S. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Print Journalism, from Howard University in Washington, DC.

Outside of work, Janette enjoys reading, plant-based cooking, jewelry making, movies, listening to podcasts, and spending time with family and friends around the country.
