Dr. John Pan is the founding Medical Director of the Office of Integrative Medicine and Health at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the founding Medical Director of the GW Center for Integrative Medicine. He graduated from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1970, and is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After serving as a Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The George Washington University Medical Center and practicing for 25 years, Dr. Pan began to recognize the value of integrating other systems of medical treatment into healthcare. In 1997, Dr. Pan founded the GW Center for Integrative Medicine, the first of its kind to be established within an academic institution.
