Dr. John Pan, MD

Founding Medical Director of GW’s Office of Integrative Medicine, pioneered the GW CIM in 1997 after 25 years in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. John Pan graduated from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1970, and is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  After serving as a Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The George Washington University Medical Center and practicing for 25 years, Dr. Pan began to recognize the value of integrating other systems of medical treatment into healthcare.  In 1997, Dr. Pan founded the GW Center for Integrative Medicine, the first of its kind to be established within an academic institution.
