Joshua Warren, MAOM, L.Ac, Dipl. Ac (#DC500276) graduated from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in Asheville, NC with his Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2017. Joshua’s education centered on the Classical roots of Chinese medicine, challenging him to develop a medical practice that readily calls for investigation into the deeper aspects of disease, and historical perspectives surrounding them. He uses these perspectives in developing adaptable treatment strategies to meet old diseases with new names.
Joshua relocated to Washington DC in December 2017 and has spent the last year in private and community practice, tending to the needs of a diverse, fast-paced and wildly stressed demographic of individuals. He has experience treating a wide-range of disorders, and has a particular interest in pain management and stress reduction, digestive and sleep issues, as well as psychoemotional concerns. In his spare time he enjoys writing, drawing, hiking, drinking coffee, and discussing medicine and astrology with friends and kindred strangers.
Joshua works with AIM as a services coordinator helping to deliver acupuncture and massage sponsored by AIM at the free clinic Bread For The City in Washington, D.C.
