Colonel Ronald G. Boston is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and a retired Air Force officer. He has a Master’s Degree in Japanese history from the University of Washington, Seattle, and served as an Assistant Professor of History at the Air Force Academy. His resume includes numerous overseas assignments as well as senior positions at the United States Embassy in Switzerland and the United Nations in New York. His late wife, Barbara, was one of the founding staff members of the GW Center for Integrative Medicine and helped establish the AIM Health Institute.
Ron and Barbara Boston moved to the Washington, DC area in 2000. Through Barbara’s years of work as a nurse practitioner at the GW Center for Integrative Medicine, he gained a deep appreciation of the value of complementary and alternative medicine, himself benefiting from a number of these modalities. He is personally interested in fitness and wellness. As a member of the advisory board of AIM health Institute, he hopes to see this proactive approach to health become available to a wider segment of the community in the furtherance of the work to which Barbara dedicated her career.
