Randi Abramson, MD

Chief Medical Officer at Bread for the City since 1991, overseeing medical programs, volunteer recruitment, and clinic operations, while also serving as an Assistant Clinical Professor at George Washington University Medical Center and supporting integrative medicine initiatives like massage and acupuncture at the clinic.

In 2008, Dr. Abramson was awarded the DC Primary Care Associations “Caregiver of the Year” Award and she was also the recipient of the American Medical Association Excellence in Medicine Award in 2009.

Dr. Abramson also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor at George Washington University Medical Center, and holds a M.D. from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Randi passionately supported AIM Health Institute initiative to bring Integrative Medicine services such as massage and acupuncture to Bread for the City clinic.
